Top horizontal navigation
The black horizontal line at the very top of the page gives access to site help, site map, register and login. The site map lists every page on the web site. It is necessary to register to use the site forum. The login function is used by site administrators.

Left column navigation
The left column navigation is an additional navigation tool that takes visitors directly to the page listed.

Right column navigation items
Quick links are links to other pages in the web site or to other websites. Related information provides quick access to relevant downloadable documents.

Site map
The site map is found on the very top black horizontal menu. This is a good overview to what is in each section of our website. It has links to most of the main pages.

Site Search
To search within the site go to the box it the black bar at the top right hand of every page. You can type any word in this box, for example "education", and press enter or click on the 'Go' button. This will take you to a list of pages on the site which mention education.

PDFs

Some information in this site is provided as PDF. You need Adobe Reader to view the PDF, if you don't have it - >download Adobe Acrobat Reader

To view a PDF on screen, simply click on a PDF link provided and the PDF will open in the browser. Or to download a PDF, right click on a PDF link and select 'Save Target As'.

Site Viewing Options
Different view options for the site are accessible from the top left of every site page, positioned before the Site Help and Site Map links. There are 3 different types of viewable options; page width, text size, site colours.

Changing text sizes

Available from the top left of every site page. Click one the of the 3 available text sizes; small, medium, large, to change the size of the content text.
Alternatively you can change the text size using your browser ‘View’ options in your browser tool bar.

Changing site colour

Colours in the site have been tested and modified to ensure the levels of contrast, brightness and colour different is optimised for users with certain colour blindness. In addition for other vision impairment issues, you can change the main content area of the site’s colours to a black/white or blue/yellow combination. These colour options are available in the top left of every site page, positioned before the Site Help and Site Map links

Changing site page width

If you have a large monitor, you can change the width of the page by clicking on one of the available 3 page width options in the top left of every site page.

Register for e-zine newsletter

Click the ‘Register’ link at the top of the site page to register for the IHC e-zine newsletters.

Print Friendly

Use the print friendly button which is located on the right hand side of body content on inside pages (not the home page). Use this button to print the body content of a site page in the printer friendly format.
