IDEA Services has a complaints policy that is available to every person using services.
Service users will be informed who to complain to, and staff are required to listen to complaints and do something about them. If the issues are not resolved they will be supported to complain to The Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner.
Where possible, families should discuss concerns with the staff first. If this is not appropriate, or if the issue is not resolved, then they should contact the manager of the service. |
