No matter how large or small we will use your gift with integrity and thought for the benefit of people of people with an intellectual disability.

Legacies and other planned gifts sustain and extend our work. Legacy money comes from individuals whose loyalty to our work runs very deep. Many people see legacies as a chance to make a personal statement about what they believe in, as well as provide for their loved ones.

When you decide to leave a legacy you are invited to become part of our Anyon Society. By doing this we are able to publicly acknowledge your generosity during your lifetime if you would like.

The Anyon Society was formed in honour of Margaret and Harold Anyon, our founders, who campaigned to improved the quality of life for their son Keith and many more New Zealanders with intellectual disabilities.

Suggested wording for leaving a legacy to IHC

“I give, devise, and bequeath to IHC New Zealand Incorporated (registered charity number CC22478) of PO Box 1757, Wellington, for its general purposes throughout New Zealand, a nominated proportion of my residuary estate or the sum of $__________________.  And the receipt of the Chief Executive or other authorised officer shall be a sufficient discharge to my Executor.”
