There are many ways to get involved with IHC. IHC relies on the generosity of New Zealanders who provide their time and money to support much of our work.
Volunteers play a big part in the lives of people with intellectual disability. The aim of our one-on-one volunteer programme is to have friends in the lives of everyone with an intellectual disability.
A good way to support our work is to become a member of IHC. Some members also get involved in local IHC associations.
We rely on donations to support the programmes and projects the government doesn’t fund.
Without these donations of time and money we wouldn’t do all the great work we do around New Zealand.
