In some areas there are holiday programmes, after school care and sibling camps.

Transition

Transition supports students to move from school to the adult world. Students are supported to plan and move into further education, employment and local community activities in their last year of school.

Who is eligible?

Students who are eligible for transition support must be:

• a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident currently living in New Zealand
• aged between 16 and 21
• funded by Ongoing Renewable Resource Scheme (ORRS)
• in their final year of school
