The executive management team is responsible for the day-to-day management of IHC. It operates in close partnership with the Board of Governance and Association committees.

National office

IHC’s national office is based in Wellington. Around 60 people support the different activities of the organisation, with IT, library, administration, payroll, human resources, quality, properties, finance, Timata Hou management and health and safety all led by the CE.

IHC Programmes, which includes fundraising, advocacy, self advocacy, communications and volunteering also operate from national office.

IDEA Services management structure

IDEA Services has two Regional General Managers who are based in Christchurch and Auckland. They are responsible for vocational, residential and supported living services.

Area Managers report to the regional managers and are responsible for the services in their area.
