Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
Introduction:
The prize draw is being run by the IHC. By participating in the prize draw you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.
Eligibility to Enter the Below Prize Draws
The prize draws are open to IHC donating farmers. IHC employees and associates are excluded from the draw.
By entering the prize draws, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that your are eligible to receive any prizes that may be awarded to you.
The prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.
The use of specific brands as prizes by IHC does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.
IHC’s decision on any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding. No correspondence or discussion will be entered into, and no appeal will be considered regarding the outcome.
Force Majeure Clause
The prize draw may be altered or cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond IHC’s control. This includes natural disasters, strikes, or other events that could disrupt the prize draw.
Data Protection and Privacy
All data on the donors entering the draw will be confidential, it will not be shared with a third party. Your name and town will be shared through IHC’s newsletter to notify all the other participants of the winners.
Amendments
IHC reserves the right to modify or cancel the prize draw and its terms if necessary. All participants shall be notified of any changes, either through direct communications or updates posted on IHC’s Calf & Rural Scheme’s website.
Dispute Resolution
The parties will take all reasonable steps to resolve any dispute that may arise in connection with these prize draws between the parties themselves.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved by negotiation between the parties will be referred to mediation and failing this, to arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996 In the event that the dispute proceeds to mediation or arbitration, the mediator or arbitrator will be appointed by agreement. If the parties are unable to agree on a suitable mediator or arbitrator, then the President of the relevant district branch of the New Zealand Law Society will be asked to appoint a person with experience in dealing with disputes between organisations and independent participants. The costs of any mediation or arbitration will be met equally by the parties.

Pre-pledge Prize Draw – IHC will be giving away 2 x Air New Zealand Mystery Break Weekends for two
To enter the draw a winner will be chosen from each category:
- One draw for the North Island Farmers
- One draw for the South Island Farmers
Pledge to IHC before 1st June 2026 and automatically go into the draw to win a Mystery Break Weekend for two. This prize will be awarded to one North Island farmer and one South Island Farmer only.
This applies to all donations and livestock pledged.
Pre-pledges that are received after the prize draw end of day date are not eligible to enter the prize draw.
The Prize
Two prize draws for an Air New Zealand Mystery Break Weekend for two
Each voucher entitles the winner to a Two Night Deluxe Mystery Break Weekend for two people to a New Zealand mystery destination.
Winner Announcement
The winner will be chosen at random and notified via the email address provided or by a phone call.
IHC will make two attempts to contact the winner via email or phone. If the winner does not respond to the emails or phone message informing them of their win within 14 days of the second email or phone call, then they forfeit their right to the prize, and IHC reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.
Delivery of the Prize
This will be discussed between IHC and the winner of the prize.
This might be in person, via email, or through courier mail.
End Season Prize Draw – IHC will be giving away 2 x Air New Zealand Mystery Break Weekends for two
To enter the draw a winner will be chosen from each category:
- Live animals / Livestock sold for $300 and over
- All donations of $300 or more
A farmer can enter a category more than once, if multiple pledges have been successful, this applies to all livestock ($300 and over) and donations of $300 or more, each successful pledge will automatically be entered into the draw.
The value of each pledge must be at least $300 and over.
All payments are required to be banked into IHC’s bank account by the end of day on the 31 March 2026 i.e. when the money from the sale of an animal or donation has been received by IHC.
This applies to all donations and for livestock sold.
Successful pledges that are received after the prize draw end of day date are not eligible to enter the prize draw.

Top Pen Prize Draw for Livestock – PGG Wrightson Store Vouchers
To enter the draw your livestock must be in the Top Pen and identified by the vendor account that the animal was sold in your region.
All payments are required to be banked into IHC’s bank account by the end of day on the 31 January 2026 i.e. when the money from the sale of an animal has been received by IHC.
The Prize
There is one voucher for each region a total of 10 x $100 PGG Wrightson Store vouchers. One voucher will be given as a price for each designated region; these vouchers must be redeemed in a PGG Wrightson Store.
Vouchers are kindly donated from PGG Wrightson Stores.
